I entered 'stepping into culture' on google and got your site. I was totally inspired by all your comments to write a song for our Culture Night and sing it for everyone. I feel some like Elijah but more like Solomon/Ecclesiastes (last Verses). In the days/weeks after being born again, prayed to God for His wisdom and His knowledge. Little did I know it would be such a heavy burden on my shoulders and eventually lead me into state of depression (about 15 months ago). I can feel myself spiraling that way again. Have lost faith in American churches who have strayed away from saving souls. Can find no refuge. Have withdrawn from last church my wife and I attended because I could not understand why we were evangelizing to the congregation and not to those outside the church. I now see that our churches have become "mission fields" as many attend church but are not born again. I was Googling looking for guidance and came upon your website.
